Celebrating 25 Years of Ministry and Leadership: Honoring Rev. Fr. Dr. Samuel Okori’s Silver Jubilee
St. John XXIII Hospital Aber joyfully invites the faithful to join in commemorating a blessed milestone in the priesthood of Rev. Fr. Dr. Samuel Okori. On Friday, December 6, 2024, we gather in gratitude to honor his 25 years of unwavering dedication to the priestly vocation, a ministry rooted in serving God and His people.
Rev. Fr. Dr. Samuel Okori heard the Lord’s call and embraced the life of a Roman Catholic priest with a heart fully devoted to God’s will. Throughout the past 25 years, Fr. Okori has faithfully fulfilled his vocation, offering the sacraments, guiding the faithful, and leading with compassion and humility. As a true servant of Christ, he has been a channel of grace, ministering to souls, bringing peace and solace, and embodying the love and mercy of our Lord.
In his vocation as a priest, Fr. Okori exemplifies the virtues of humility, patience, and sacrificial love. His life of prayer, devotion to the Holy Eucharist, and commitment to the Church’s teachings have been an inspiration to those around him. Whether through the homilies he shares or the personal counsel he offers, his ministry has drawn people closer to God, strengthened faith, and provided spiritual guidance in times of need.
In addition to his priestly role, Rev. Fr. Dr. Okori serves as the Medical Director of St. John XXIII Hospital Aber. His commitment to the dignity of human life has seen the facility expand its services and offerings, with new advancements such as CT scans, endoscopy, colonoscopy, and peritoneal dialysis. These improvements reflect his dedication to upholding the Church’s mission of compassion, healing, and respect for every human being created in the image of God.
As we celebrate this Silver Jubilee, we give heartfelt thanks to God for Rev. Fr. Dr. Okori’s 25 years of priestly service and his compassionate leadership in the medical field. In his ministry, he has become a reflection of God’s love and a powerful witness to the Gospel. We pray that our Lord may continue to bless and sustain him as he leads and serves with faith and devotion.
